The attitude and behaviour of European car drivers to road safety

SARTRE2 report

Report on principal results part 1 The SARTRE 2 survey covered car drivers from nearly all 1996 European Union member states, except Denmark and Luxembourg. The collected data are sufficient to give a correct view of the European Union as a whole. Furthermore the non-EU countries Switzerland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary and Poland, some of which are potential members, are also covered. The quality of gathered data is estimated to be very good for 10 EU relatedsamples and 4 non EU, and good with care for the 5 others.
